Job summary

ASTIKA SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an experienced Python Developer for backend development in Hyderabad. The role focuses on building robust RESTful APIs, microservices, and scalable backend systems using Python and modern frameworks.

The candidate should have 5–6 years of hands-on experience with API development, databases, AWS, and CI/CD practices, and be adept at collaborating in an Agile/Scrum team environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Core Python and OOP.
• Proficient in data structures, collections, exception handling, and concurrency.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Django, or Django REST Framework.
• RESTful API development and integrations experience.
• Experience with JSON, XML, web services, and API integrations.
• Strong SQL skills and database experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server/Oracle).
• Experience with SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Understanding of Microservices Architecture.
• Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization.
• Familiarity with JWT and OAuth.
• Experience with Git and Docker.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Familiarity with PyTest or unittest.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Design teams to understand requirements and propose effective technical solutions.

Education
