Job summary

Beyond Border Consultants is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Python. The role involves extending TestComplete-based frameworks for desktop and hybrid apps, integrating tests in CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with QA and development teams to close coverage gaps.

Strong REST API testing skills are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and Selenium WebDriver for web UI automation.
• Experience with TestComplete and PyTest in automation frameworks.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Git version control.
• REST API testing using Postman and requests library.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust UI automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Python for web applications.
• Implement and extend TestComplete-based automation frameworks for desktop and hybrid applications across Windows environments.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable shift-left testing and rapid feedback loops.
• Collaborate with QA leads and developers to identify test coverage gaps and automate regression, smoke, and sanity test cases.
• Debug failing scripts, analyze test logs, and optimize test execution time and stability across environments.
• Document test strategies, framework structure, and best practices for team adoption and knowledge transfer.
