Job summary

Tekfriday is looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer in Hyderabad, India. This role involves building and maintaining automated test frameworks using Python, and working with web and mobile testing tools such as Selenium and Playwright.

The ideal candidate should have 3–4 years of experience, strong programming skills, and familiarity with BDD practices. Responsibilities include designing test scripts, collaborating with teams, and continuous improvement of test execution.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of hands-on experience in test automation development.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
• Experience with Playwright for modern UI automation.
• Experience with Appium for mobile test automation (Android/iOS).
• Good understanding of BDD frameworks and writing feature files/scenarios.
• Experience with API testing and automation (e.g., requests, REST clients).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Ability to debug issues, analyze logs, and identify root causes.

Responsibilities
