Job summary

Durus Consulting in Hyderabad invites a Quality Analyst to join our team. You will participate in all SDLC phases focusing on functional testability, automation, and performance, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

You will develop test strategies, build automation frameworks with Pytest, work with Selenium Python, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and consultants, and help onboard new members.

Qualifications

• Experience in manual testing for web and API.
• Hands-on automation using Selenium with Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure/Jenkins).
• Experience building test automation frameworks (Pytest).
• Strong knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Ability to document and share test metrics with the team and project management.
• Proficient in SQL and databases.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; onboarding new team members.

About the role

As a Quality Analyst, you will be involved in every phase of SDLC and focus on Functional testability, Automation and Performance of the software. More specifically, you will work on:

• Developing Test Strategies, Preparing Effort Estimation, and Designing Test plans and Test cases effectively/independently
• Designing and implementing automation for Web and Mobile applications.
• Performing Test Execution and Reporting defects.
• Collaborating with business consultants, data scientists, engineers, and application developers
• Provide leadership and direction to the team in the implementation of test automation and Functional testing.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge and experience in Manual Testing (Web, API).
• Strong hands-on experience in Automation testing using Selenium with Python.
• Strong knowledge on CI/CD pipeline (Azure/Jenkins).
• Strong Experience in building frameworks using Pytest or related Libraries.
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing concepts and methodology.
• Understanding different test metrics for the project. Be able to document and share test metric reports with the team and project management.
• Must have SQL and database Knowledge.
• Ability to learn and apply complex technical information to testing situations quickly.
• Attention to detail and ability to effectively escal issues and manage escalations.
• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments at one time and meet delivery dates.
• TestRail/JIRA knowledge is a plus.
• Adaptability and attention to finalizing testing details and duties amidst aggressive time challenges.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Support the onboarding of new team members.
