Job summary

VidvanConnect Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking an Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Python, Pytest, UI and API testing to build and maintain automated frameworks.

You will test REST APIs, perform manual testing, and work with CI/CD, Git, and Agile teams to ensure quality. Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering and 4–8 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python & Pytest.
• Develop and execute UI automation using Selenium and/or Playwright.
• Perform comprehensive Manual Testing including functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Design and execute API tests using Postman.
• Validate REST APIs, JSON responses, status codes, authentication, headers, and business logic.
• Maintain reusable and scalable automation frameworks using Page Object Model (POM) and automation best practices.
• Integrate and execute automation suites through CI/CD pipelines.
• Use Git & GitHub for source control, branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Create test scenarios, test cases, defect reports, and automation execution reports. Work effectively within an Agile/Scrum team.

Job description

We are looking for a strong Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Python, Pytest, UI Automation, API Testing, and Manual Testing. The ideal candidate should be comfortable building and maintaining automation frameworks, testing REST APIs, troubleshooting automation failures, and working closely with development and product teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
