Job summary

Cloudxtreme is hiring a QA Automation Engineer (Python) in Hyderabad. The role focuses on designing and maintaining Python-based automated tests for web and API apps, with strong emphasis on performance testing using Locust or JMeter.

You will collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality across releases and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of experience, solid Pytest skills, and a good grasp of QA processes, automation frameworks, and REST

Qualifications

• Must have strong Python-based test automation experience.
• Hands-on Pytest experience for test development and execution.
• Experience with performance testing tools Locust or JMeter.
• Solid understanding of QA processes, test planning and execution.
• Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of API testing (REST) and basic Git workflows.

QA Automation Engineer (Python)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Pytest
  
• Perform automation testing for web and/or API applications
  
• Conduct performance testing using tools such as Locust or JMeter
  
• Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks
  
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality across releases
  
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  
• Prepare test reports and document defects clearly
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience in Python-based test automation
  
• Hands-on experience with Pytest
  
• Experience with performance testing tools: Locust and/or JMeter
  
• Good understanding of QA processes, test planning, and test execution
  
• Experience in automation frameworks design and maintenance
  
• Knowledge of API testing (REST)
  
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)
  

Nice to Have:
