Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Import Export documentation, Taxation & Transport documents is necessary.

For more than 95 years, VetterTec, headquartered in Kassel, Germany, has been developing and manufacturing machines and systems for industrial drying and dewatering, primarily for the food industry. As a world-wide operating company, we generate more than 85% of our sales abroad. The key to our success is our team of over 160 employees at six locations.

To strengthen our team in Pune, India, we are looking for an Purchaser

Your Responsibilities:

• Independent management of procurement processes, including obtaining and evaluating quotations based on technical and commercial criteria.
• Clarification of technical requirements and quality standards using drawings and specifications.
• Maintenance and expansion of the supplier portfolio, including price and contract negotiations.
• Monitoring delivery deadlines and quality, as well as coordinating actions in case of deviations.
• Administration and maintenance of supplier data in the ERP system, along with invoice verification and resolution of discrepancies.
• Development and implementation of strategies for risk management and supplier evaluation to ensure optimal conditions.

Your Profile

• Completed commercial education or a relevant bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field, combined with solid technical knowledge.
• Several years of professional experience in technical procurement, ideally in special-purpose machinery or custom machine engineering.
• Should have knowledge of Tally ERP.
• Knowledge of Import Export documentation, Taxation & Transport documentsis necessary.
• Independent, diligent, and well-structured working style.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, assertiveness, as well as high commitment and initiative.
