Job summary

VetterTec in Pune, India, is seeking a Purchaser to lead procurement activities for the company. You will independently manage procurement processes, evaluate quotations, and clarify technical requirements to ensure compliant purchases.

The role involves expanding the supplier base, negotiating prices and contracts, and maintaining ERP supplier data, including invoice verification and resolving discrepancies. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial education or a relevant bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in technical procurement, ideally in special‑purpose machinery or custom machine engineering.
• Knowledge of Import Export documentation, Taxation & Transport documents.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Independent management of procurement processes, including obtaining and evaluating quotations based on technical and commercial criteria.
• Clarification of technical requirements and quality standards using drawings and specifications.
• Maintenance and expansion of the supplier portfolio, including price and contract negotiations.
• Monitoring delivery deadlines and quality, as well as coordinating actions in case of deviations.

• Development and implementation of strategies for risk management and supplier evaluation to ensure optimal conditions.

Your Responsibilities

• Should have knowledge of Tally ERP.
• Knowledge of Import Export documentation, Taxation & Transport documentsis necessary.
• Independent, diligent, and well‑structured working style.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, assertiveness, as well as high commitment and initiative.
