Job summary

The-Search-House in Hyderabad is seeking a procurement professional to strengthen the vendor base and manage end-to-end sourcing for façade, aluminium, and related building materials.

You will coordinate with plant, stores, and project teams, negotiate terms, and oversee logistics to ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in Purchase/Procurement in façade, aluminium, building materials, fabrication, manufacturing or related industries.
• Strong vendor development and negotiation skills.
• Exposure to plant/factory procurement operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen vendor base for fabrication, raw materials, consumables, transport, and project requirements.
• Source and onboard local vendors to optimize cost and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with plant, production, stores, and project teams for timely procurement.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Manage transport vendors and logistics coordination for direct project dispatches.
• Monitor daily material stock and ensure uninterrupted supply for production.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor development and alternate sourcing.
• Conduct factory and vendor visits for requirement assessment and procurement planning.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor evaluations, and procurement MIS reports.
