Job summary

INTEGRA Engineering India Limited is seeking a Purchase Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing procurement. The role focuses on sheet metal, machining components, surface treatment, fasteners and consumables, with ERP/SAP support and strong vendor coordination.

Responsible for supplier selection, cost evaluation, and timely material availability, you will interface with Design, Projects and Production teams to ensure smooth procurement workflows in Halol, Gujarat.

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement in an engineering or manufacturing organization.
• Hands-on experience in procurement of sheet metal and machining components.
• Knowledge of ERP / SAP.
• Experience in vendor development and sub-contracting.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of sheet metal components, machining components, surface treatment, special fasteners and consumables.
• Manage routine purchase activities through ERP / SAP.
• Receive and review new purchase inquiries from Design and Project teams.
• Check inquiries for adequate technical specifications, drawings and other required data.
• Identify suitable vendors and obtain quotations for costing and commercial evaluation.
• Maintain records of vendor quotations, purchase orders and procurement activities.
• Track material shortages for new product development and regular production requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and ensure continuity of production.
• Develop new vendors and alternate vendors based on technical and business requirements.
• Handle and coordinate sub-contracting activities.
• Coordinate with Design, Projects, Production, Quality, Stores and other internal departments for procurement requirements.
• Support cost-effective sourcing and timely availability of materials.

Job Summary

Candidate Profile

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Purchase / Procurement in an engineering or manufacturing organization.
• Hands-on experience in procurement of sheet metal and machining components.
• Knowledge of surface treatment, special fasteners and industrial consumables.
• Working knowledge of ERP / SAP.
• Experience in vendor development, alternate vendor development and sub-contracting.
• Good understanding of technical drawings/specifications and engineering components.
• Strong vendor follow-up, negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
