Job summary

The role requires attention to supplier evaluation, quotation analysis, and cost control. You will coordinate with warehouse and accounts teams to streamline orders, payments, and deliveries, while building reliable supplier networks

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of purchasing experience.
• Experience in hardware and kitchen products is required.
• Sanitaryware experience is an added advantage.
• Graduate in any discipline preferred.
• MS Excel and inventory software knowledge are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase kitchen sinks, faucets, hardware, sanitaryware, accessories, and related products.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and manufacturers.
• Obtain quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate rates and delivery terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers for on-time delivery.
• Plan purchases based on sales requirements, stock levels and product demand.
• Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams to prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Verify product specifications, materials, finishes, packaging, and quality prior to purchase.
• Resolve supplier issues related to damaged products, quality defects, shortages, and delays.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor details, price comparisons, and procurement reports.
• Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and supplier payments.
• Monitor market prices and identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.
