Krits Automotive in Navi Mumbai seeks an experienced procurement professional to handle sourcing, PO management, and vendor negotiations for automotive components.

You will coordinate with logistics and finance to ensure smooth operations, maintain contracts and pricing, and uphold supplier performance. 3–5 years in automotive spare parts is preferred, with advanced Excel and ERP familiarity.

• Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for materials and automotive components.
• Raise Purchase Orders based on MRP and track deliveries for timely arrival.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
• Monitor vendor performance regarding quality, lead times, and credit terms; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain purchasing records, price lists, and vendor contracts.
• Coordinate with finance for supplier payments.
• Coordinate with warehouse logistics to optimize purchase and inventory.

Role & responsibilities

• Sourcing & Procurement: Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers for materials and automotive components.
• PO Management: Raise Purchase Orders (POs) based on material requirements planning (MRP) and track deliveries to ensure timely arrival.
• Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve cost optimization.
• Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance regarding quality, lead times, and credit terms; resolve supply discrepancies or quality issues.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive purchasing records, price lists, and vendor contracts.
• Financial Management: Coordinate with finance dept for payments to suppliers.
• Operations Management: Coordinate with warehouse logistics team to facilitate smooth operations : work in close coordination with inventory analyst to optimize purchase & inventory.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Experience: 3-5 years , preferably from automotive spare parts domain
2. Skills: Advance Excel , Exposure to ERP tools , Diligent in work
