FRATITUDE Talent Advisors is seeking a senior procurement professional in Bengaluru with 15+ years of experience in automobile manufacturing. The role involves managing the entire purchase function, driving cost efficiencies, and coordinating with accounts for vendor payments.

You will lead strategic sourcing, negotiate with suppliers, and oversee import/export activities to ensure governance and compliance. A strong track record in team leadership and stakeholder collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in procurement/ purchasing.
• Automobile or auto ancillary manufacturing background preferred.
• End-to-end management of the purchase department.
• Strong knowledge of Import & Export management.
• Proven team management and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Job description

• Manage and supervise all function for purchase department
• Handing all kind of project requirement and timely procurement for the respective unit.
• Responsible for finalizing the rates for major items effecting the project cost.
• Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies to enhance team performance.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
• Conduct research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
• Ensure effective supply chain management.
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand for products and services.
• Attend meetings, exhibitions and trade conferences.
• Designing and implementing training modules to develop new recruits into professionals.
