Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5 years in purchase/procurement for manufacturing operations.
• End-to-end procurement experience for manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete purchase and procurement activities from PR to PO and delivery.
• Procure electronic, electrical, mechanical, PCB components, production materials, consumables and packing materials.
• Identify, evaluate and develop new vendors and alternate suppliers.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, MOQ, quality and delivery schedules.
• Obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements for purchase decisions.
• Ensure timely availability of materials as per production and inventory requirements.
• Monitor vendor performance, delivery schedules and material quality.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, R&D and Accounts departments.
• Handle supplier complaints, rejected materials and corrective actions.
• Maintain Approved Vendor List, Purchase Orders and procurement records.
• Drive cost reduction, inventory optimization and alternate sourcing.
• Prepare purchase reports and MIS for management.
