Role Description

The Purchase Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Vadodara. The Purchase Manager is responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials, components, and services required for HVAC manufacturing, ensuring timely availability and cost-effectiveness. Day-to-day tasks include vendor identification and evaluation, obtaining and comparing quotations, negotiating prices and terms, and issuing purchase orders in line with project schedules. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, coordinating closely with production, engineering, and warehouse teams, and tracking deliveries to avoid delays or shortages. The Purchase Manager also maintains vendor relationships, updates procurement records, ensures compliance with company policies, and contributes to continuous improvement of purchasing processes.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in procurement and vendor management, including vendor evaluation, negotiation, and purchase order management.
• Ability to manage inventory, track material requirements, and coordinate with production and warehouse teams for timely material availability.
• Proficiency in using ERP or procurement software, MS Office tools, and maintaining accurate purchasing documentation and records.
• Knowledge of HVAC or engineering industry materials and components, and understanding of technical specifications and quality standards.
• Excellent analytical, budgeting, and cost-control abilities to optimize purchasing decisions and support project profitability.
