Job summary

Metatron Hr Solutions Coimbatore is seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Engineer to manage HVAC/MEP procurement for projects. You will source materials, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years in HVAC/MEP procurement, strong knowledge of chillers and systems, and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP. Hindi is mandatory; willing to travel Pan India.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BE in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC or related field.
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in HVAC and MEP materials.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, and MEP components.
• Hindi language is mandatory.
• Experience in vendor development, negotiation and supplier management.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP (preferred).
• Knowledge of material planning and inventory control.
• Willing to work across Pan India locations.

Responsibilities

• Procure HVAC equipment including chillers, AHU, FAHU, VRF, towers, pumps.
• Purchase HVAC accessories: ducts, insulation, valves, dampers, supports.
• Procure MEP materials: electrical, plumbing, fire fighting.
• Coordinate with project, site and planning teams per BOQ/drawings.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparison statements.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties.
• Issue Purchase Orders with approvals.
• Ensure timely delivery per project schedule.
• Coordinate GRN/MRN, receipts, invoice verification, payments.
• Maintain vendor database, procurement records, MIS reports.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities for HVAC and MEP projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining cost-effective purchasing processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Procurement of HVAC equipment such as Chillers (Air & Water Cooled), AHU, FAHU, VRF systems, Cooling Towers, and Pumps.
• Purchase of HVAC accessories including ducts, insulation, valves, dampers, and supports.
• Procurement of MEP materials (Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting systems).
• Coordinate with project, site, and planning teams based on BOQ and drawings.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparison statements.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranties with vendors.
• Issue Purchase Orders with proper approvals.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials as per project schedule.
• Coordinate GRN/MRN, receipt note, invoice verification, and payment processes.

Desired Candidate Profile
