Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services invites an experienced procurement professional to lead end-to-end purchase activities for construction projects. You will manage fire-fighting and plumbing materials, coordinate with site teams, and drive vendor selection and cost-saving initiatives.

The role requires strong negotiation, MS Excel proficiency, and the ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines while ensuring delivery aligned with budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchase/procurement.
• Experience in construction, fire‑fighting, plumbing, MEP, or infrastructure projects preferred.
• Good knowledge of fire‑fighting and plumbing materials.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase/ERP systems.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities for construction projects.

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, and finalize orders.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with project, site, engineering, and accounts teams for purchase requirements.
• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, quality, and material availability.
• Maintain proper purchase records, vendor documentation, and MIS reports.
• Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Resolve issues related to quality, quantity, delivery, and vendor payments.
• Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure procurement is aligned with project budgets and timelines.
