Job summary

Hyvision System in Devanahalli, Bangalore, is seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for a manufacturing environment. You will own vendor development, price negotiation, PO processing, and delivery follow-up, ensuring materials arrive on time while controlling costs and ensuring policy compliance.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years in manufacturing purchasing, a relevant degree (MBA preferred), and strong ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in purchase/procurement for manufacturing sector.

Responsibilities

• Handle complete purchase process including PR review, RFQ, quotation comparison, negotiation, PO release, and delivery follow-up.
• Source and procure materials, components, consumables, tools, fabrication items, machining parts, electrical and mechanical items as per requirement.
• Develop new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and commercial conditions with vendors.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Finance, R&D, and Project teams for material requirements.
• Ensure timely material availability to avoid production delays.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor data, price comparison sheets, PO trackers, and MIS reports.
• Monitor vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvements in purchase activities.
• Ensure purchase activities follow company policy, approval process, and documentation standards.
