Job summary

Urja Infra is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Senior Executive Purchase & Supply Chain Management to oversee end-to-end procurement for electrical infrastructure projects. You will source materials, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery while coordinating with project teams.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical materials, 5–7 years of experience, and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/Odoo. On-site Mumbai region operations are expected.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement, SCM or Project Procurement.
• Electrical EPC, MSEDCL, HT/LT Line, Substation, Solar, DTC or Electrical Infrastructure project experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials and equipment.
• Good negotiation, vendor management and communication skills.
• MS Excel and ERP/Odoo knowledge is an added advantage.

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager / Senior Executive Purchase & Supply Chain Management for our electrical infrastructure and project operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities for electrical projects.
• Source and procure electrical materials, equipment, tools, and project-related items.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers.
• Obtain quotations, conduct price comparisons, negotiate commercial terms, and finalize purchase orders.
• Coordinate with project, site, stores, and accounts teams for material requirements.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials at project sites.
• Monitor purchase orders, pending materials, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, quotations, comparative statements, and procurement reports.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative vendors.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements.
• Manage supply chain coordination to avoid material shortages and project delays.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma / BE / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 5to 7 years of experience in Purchase, Procurement, SCM, or Project Procurement.
• Experience in Electrical EPC, MSEDCL, HT/LT Line, Substation, Solar, DTC, or Electrical Infrastructure Projects will be preferred.
