Carbon Resources in Kolkata is seeking an experienced Electrical Procurement professional to join our Kolkata Corporate Office for the Bhutan Project. You will manage end-to-end procurement of electrical equipment and project materials for a Greenfield industrial project.

Role emphasizes strategic sourcing, techno-commercial evaluation, and cost optimization while ensuring timely project execution with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• B.Tech / BE in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–10 years of experience in electrical procurement (steel/power/heavy industry preferred).
• Working knowledge of SAP HANA and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of switchgear, transformers, cables, motors, panels, drives and related electrical materials.
• Float RFQs, conduct techno-commercial evaluations, and finalize vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Develop and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, and finance teams for smooth execution.
• Drive cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives.
