Qualifications

• B.Tech/B.E. is mandatory.
• Total 10+ years in procurement and supply chain.
• 5+ years in a supervisory procurement role in manufacturing.
• Direct electronics/related industry experience required.
• Advanced ERP skills (Oracle ERP or SAP S/4HANA).

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement across 3 manufacturing units to ensure zero downtime.
• Drive MRP to secure material availability per production plans.
• Develop and manage local and global suppliers with strong vendor relationships.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, payments, and SLAs to cut costs while maintaining quality.
• Use Oracle ERP (or similar) to manage POs, requisitions, delivery schedules, and inventory.

Role Overview

We are looking for a high-performing Purchase Lead to oversee multi-plant procurement operations across three manufacturing facilities. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end material availability, strategic sourcing, vendor development, and contract negotiations within the electronics or related manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Factory Procurement: Lead and streamline purchasing operations across 3 manufacturing units to ensure zero downtime in production.
• Material & Component Availability: Drive material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure timely availability of raw materials, electronics components, and parts as per production schedules.
• Vendor Development & Management: Identify, onboard, and evaluate local and global suppliers. Build strong long-term vendor relationships while maintaining strict quality standards.
• Cost Sourcing & Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment schedules, and SLAs to achieve annual cost-reduction targets without compromising quality.
• ERP & Systems Operations: Utilize Oracle ERP (or similar platform) to manage purchase requisitions, generate POs, track delivery schedules, and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Supply Chain Risk Management: Anticipate lead-time bottlenecks, mitigate supply chain disruptions, and ensure strict adherence to delivery deadlines.

Candidate Profile & Eligibility

• Education: B.Tech / B.E. (Mandatory)
• Total Experience: Minimum 10 years of total hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or leadership procurement role within a similar manufacturing environment.
• Industry Experience: Direct experience in the Electronics or closely related industry (e.g., electricals, appliances, hardware assembly) is required.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Oracle ERP operations or a comparable enterprise-grade ERP system (SAP S/4HANA, etc.).
