Job summary

DMart in Hyderabad is seeking a vendor management professional to negotiate schemes, manage vendor relations, and plan stock to ensure availability and optimal in-store display. The role involves coordinating with HO/operations, analyzing SKU performance, and driving timely payments to suppliers.

You will develop strong vendor networks, ensure accurate promotions, and maintain audits while showcasing analytical thinking, planning, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vendor schedules and negotiate with vendors on schemes and discounts.

• Conduct floor walks to ensure availability and correct displays.
• Coordinate with HO and operations to control pilferage and stock tracking.
• Maintain process audit registers.
• Participate in promoter briefings and resolve customer complaints.
• Plan dispatches for smooth stock take.

Industry:

Only FMCG - preferably GT market experience

• Would be responsible for preparing the vendor schedules & Negotiate with vendors regarding schemes, offers, discounts, debits and place orders.
• Develop relationship with vendors to get excellent services & timely information. Negotiate for placement of promoters, review their daily availability & provide instruction to ensure smooth functioning of store.
• Analyse and study report of Top selling, slow moving, zero sale SKU's and placing purchase orders to ensure stock availability and optimum utilisation of space.
• Conduct floor walk with operations to ensure availability, visibility, timely refilling, proper display & correct price boards.
• Interact with staff to share information and enable execution.
• Participate in weekly promoter briefing. Coordinate with company officials regarding customer complaints and followup for timely resolution.

Job Description:

• Conduct competitions benchmarking with stores in vicinity atleast once a week to improve on pricing, product display, product range.
• Coordinate with HO for deciding OL, OQ.
• Identify & followup on PNM to ensure timely payment to vendors.
• Share information with operations to control pilferage (stock in systems vs stock on floor/ warehouse). Prepare vendor schedule and plan dispatches to enable smooth stock take.
• Maintain registers to ensure compliance with process audit.
• Has good product knowledge and flair for negotiation Skills.
• Should be good at Listening, Written Communication
• Has good computer skills & should be sincere & hardworking
• Should be good at planning, Exhibits analytical skills.
