Job summary

DMart is seeking a Purchase Incharge in Surat, Gujarat, to ensure stock availability, optimize space, and analyze top selling and slow-moving SKUs. The role involves vendor relationship management, negot iations for schemes, and promoter placement, with emphasis on accurate stock takes and loss prevention.

Ideal candidates have 3–10 years of experience, a graduate or postgraduate qualification, and experience in FMCG Sales, HORECA, or Consumer Goods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stock availability, optimum space utilization, and analyze top selling & slow moving SKUs.
• Vendor relationship management, negotiation for schemes, offers, and promoter placement.
• Accuracy of stock take, avoid loss of sales, control pilferage, customer convenience & service.
• Timely debit clearance and coordinate vendor payments with HO.
• Statutory compliance, maintain registers, and ensure process audit completion.
• Prepare the vendor schedule and plan dispatches to enable smooth stock take.
• Conduct the floor walk with operations to check availability, visibility, timely refilling, and competitor benchmarking.
