Job summary

BDI Group (India) is seeking a dynamic Purchase Senior Executive with 3–4 years of procurement and sourcing experience in the automotive ancillary sector. The role requires an MBA in Operations and strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills to drive cost efficiency and supplier performance.

Responsibilities include sourcing materials, supplier onboarding, PO management, contract negotiation, cost-saving initiatives, cross-functional coordination, and NPD sourcing support.

Qualifications

• MBA in Operations Management is mandatory.
• 3–4 years of hands-on procurement experience in automotive ancillary or Tier 1 supplier environment.
• Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Others).
• Familiarity with automotive standards and documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; good reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, components, consumables, and tooling for manufacturing operations.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Raise and monitor purchase orders based on production schedules and inventory levels.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Track market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and finance teams for end-to-end procurement.
• Maintain documentation for audits, vendor evaluations, and management reporting.
• Assist in new product development (NPD) sourcing activities.

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Purchase Senior Executive with 3–4 years of experience in procurement and sourcing within the automotive ancillary sector. Key Responsibilities
