Job summary

EON Meditech PVT. LTD. in Surat is seeking a proactive Purchasing Executive to identify and evaluate suppliers for materials, components, and packaging, and to prepare purchase orders per company requirements.

You will obtain quotations, negotiate prices, coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery, maintain records and reports, and collaborate with Production, Stores, Accounts, and Quality to ensure material availability and quality.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers for materials, components, and packaging.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per company requirements.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and follow up on pending orders.
• Maintain purchase records, invoices, supplier documents, and reports.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Accounts, and Quality departments.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure material availability.
• Develop and maintain an Approved Vendor List (AVL).
• Ensure materials meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Support cost reduction and maintain effective supplier relationships.
