Astam Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. seeks a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in purchasing raw materials and packing materials in a manufacturing unit. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage supplier relationships, track inventory, and ensure the timely procurement of materials to meet production needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong in negotiation, developing new vendors, ensuring timely delivery of goods, verifying vendor credentials, and monitoring prevailing prices.
• Procure raw materials and packing materials for manufacturing operations in line with production requirements.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate prices, and manage supplier contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
• Maintain up-to-date records of material inventory and supplier details.
• Work closely with the production and quality control teams to ensure timely delivery of materials, avoiding production delays.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure that raw and packing materials are always available to meet manufacturing demands.
• Review and process purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Track and manage the delivery schedules of suppliers, ensuring that materials are received on time.
• Handle vendor queries and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to procurement and material supply.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures regarding material procurement and vendor management.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to improve the efficiency of procurement processes.
• Assist in cost analysis and budget planning for procurement activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 4-5 years of experience in purchasing raw materials and packing materials in a manufacturing environment.
