Job summary

Alpha Pharma Healthcare Pvt Ltd in Mumbai is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end sourcing of raw materials, packaging, capital equipment and spares. You will drive market research, vendor evaluation and negotiations to secure favorable terms.

You will develop strategies to optimize the supply chain, monitor supplier performance, use data analytics to drive cost savings, and coordinate logistics to ensure timely deliveries and inventory health.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of raw material, packing material, capital & engineering spares.
• Conduct market research, vendor evaluation and negotiation for favorable terms.
• Develop procurement strategies to optimize supply chain and reduce lead times; collaborate cross-functionally.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain relationships to ensure quality and reliability.
• Utilize Excel data systems and analytics to track procurement metrics and identify savings.
• Assist RFQ/RFP, vendor selection and contract management for various projects.
• Support inventory management to minimize stockouts and optimize turnover.
• Coordinate logistics and shipping to ensure timely delivery.

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for Raw Material, Packing Material, Capital and Engineering and Spares items, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective sourcing.
• Conduct market research, vendor evaluation, and negotiation to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times.
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement goals with business objectives and maintain inventory levels as per demand forecasts.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure quality and reliability.
• Utilize Excel-data systems and data analytics tools to track procurement metrics, analyze spending patterns, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assisted in procurement processes including RFQ/RFP, vendor selection, and contract management for various projects.
• Supported inventory management initiatives to minimize stockouts and optimize inventory turnover ratios.
• Coordinated logistics and shipping arrangements to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
