Job summary

Utkarsh Placement is hiring a dynamic Purchase professional for an Executive Purchase role in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The candidate will handle direct material procurement, component sourcing, and vendor development to support high-volume production.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in direct material procurement, part costing, and cost reduction initiatives, with exposure to import procurement and GST/taxation considerations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Direct Material Procurement, Component Sourcing, Part Costing and Vendor Development.
• Exposure to import procurement, logistics and customs clearance will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Procurement of Plastic & Metal Components and raw materials.
• Source components such as trolley parts, wheels, zippers, fabric, pullers, runners, locks, plastic parts and CRCA steel items.
• Ensure timely sourcing of materials to support high-volume production.
• Hands-on experience in Part Costing, Zero-Based Costing & Should Costing.
• Vendor identification, development and commercial negotiation.
• Material procurement and purchase planning to ensure continuous supply.
• Inventory management and supplier performance evaluation.
• Drive cost reduction through alternate supplier development, VAVE, resourcing and negotiation.
• Coordinate with internal departments for material requirement planning.
