Job summary

Manpowergroup Services India is seeking an experienced Purchase Engineer / Purchase Officer to manage techno-commercial procurement and electronics components sourcing in Kochi. The role involves strategic sourcing, vendor development, price negotiation, and procurement planning for engineering projects.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of electronics components, ability to read datasheets, and familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 310 years of relevant experience in procurement/purchase of electronics components, preferably in electronics manufacturing, automation, industrial equipment, or the EMS industry.

Required Skills

• Strong techno-commercial understanding
• Vendor development and supplier management experience
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of electronics components, PCB-related materials, semiconductors, connectors, and passive/active components
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel
• Ability to read technical datasheets and engineering specifications
• Strong analytical and cost-management skills
