Job summary

Rexel India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced procurement professional in Tamil Nadu to manage supplier RFQs, build strong supplier relationships and ensure timely material supply.

The role requires 5-8 years of relevant experience, a Diploma or equivalent, and strong negotiation and MIS skills to drive cost savings and smooth purchasing cycles across branches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage supplier RFQs with a strong supplier base.
• Build relationships to ensure flawless material supply.
• Negotiate to improve payment terms, lead time and cost.
• Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with suppliers.
• Provide MIS reporting as required.
• Implement internal sourcing strategies for cost savings.

Job Description

• Good supplier database and knowledge to execute the RFQs
• Build a good relationship with the supplier for flawless material supply.
• Negotiate with the vendor to reduce payment terms, lead time, and cost.
• Resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with suppliers if required.
• MIS reporting as per the requirement.
• Responsible for implementing internal sourcing strategies to cater to cost saving, timely quotes from the supplier, etc.
