Job summary

Larsen & Toubro is hiring a PSD-Service Engineer in India to handle maintenance, troubleshooting, and service support on CE and ME machines in the mining sector. The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical with 3–7 years of experience and will involve leading a large FMC team and coordinating with shifts.

Responsibilities include erection and commissioning of new machines, condition monitoring, spare parts planning, and reporting via SAP and Komatsu ICT tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical with relevant certification.
• 3–7 years of experience in mining machinery service or similar.
• Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and field service.
• FMC team leadership and SAP/Komatsu ICT tools knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Exposure to Product Service support on CE & ME Machines, Leading a big team
• Erection and commissioning of new machines, machine condition monitoring
• Machine availability & Spare parts planning, managing a FMC team
• Attend to daily checks , mandatory service and break down calls
• Maintain record of daily checks , daily reporting of m/c working & breakdown
• Carry out Preventative Maintenance checks & plan for parts /components for repairs
• Ensure the machine is working condition with minimum breakdown
• Reporting of service reports in SAP & also on Komatsu ICT tools
• Coordinate with shift in charge and able to lead the skilled /semiskilled technicians under Team lease
