Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Singrauli is seeking a Service Engineer for mining equipment support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of new hydraulic machines.

Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical and 3–7 years' experience are required; candidates should manage spare parts planning, field service, and SAP-based reporting.

You will lead technicians, ensure machine availability, and coordinate with shift in charge.

Qualifications

• Diploma - Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• ITI Trade Certificate relevant to field service.
• Experience in mining equipment service or similar.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and product service support on CE & ME machines; lead a big team.
• Erection and commissioning of new machines; machine condition monitoring.
• Spare parts planning and FMC team management; ensure machine availability.
• Attend daily checks, mandatory service and breakdown calls.
• Maintain daily checks and reporting of machine operation and breakdowns.
• Plan for parts/components and perform preventative maintenance checks.
• Ensure machines are in good working condition with minimal breakdowns.
• Report service activities in SAP and Komatsu ICT tools; coordinate with shift in charge.
• Lead skilled and semi-skilled technicians under the team lead.
