Job summary

Sasken Silicon Technologies in Bangalore is seeking an Embedded Engineer for Protocol & Firmware with 4–12 years of experience. You will design and implement embedded software, develop protocol stacks, and work on low-level drivers at the customer site in Bangalore.

Strong C/C++ skills, embedded systems expertise, and knowledge of MAC/L2 protocols are required. The role involves working onsite at the customer location, engaging with wireless technologies, debugging, and optimizing performance

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and data structures.
• Good understanding of Embedded Systems.
• Experience with Linux or RTOS environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of using AI tools.
• Strong Protocol Experience, especially MAC Layer and above – hands-on with L2/MAC, RRC, and LLC.
• Experience with protocol-level debugging tools such as Wireshark.

Bangalore (Onsite - Customer Location, 5 days/week)

About the Role

We are hiring Embedded Engineers with experience in Protocol and/or Firmware development to work from the customer location in Bangalore. The role requires strong expertise in C/C++ programming, embedded systems, and communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded firmware and communication protocols
• Work on wireless technologies such as:
  • WiFi
  • Cellular (LTE/5G)
  • Bluetooth
  • LoRa / LPWAN
• Design, develop, and debug protocol stacks and embedded systems
• Work on low-level drivers and hardware interfaces
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues
• Optimize performance, memory, and system efficiency

Required Skills

Mandatory:
