Job summary

Kairos Technologies is seeking an Embedded Engineer to join the Protocol & Firmware team in Bangalore, onsite at the customer location. The role focuses on C/C++ development for embedded systems and wireless protocols, with exposure to MAC/RRC/LLC layers and WLAN/LTE/5G technologies.

You will design, implement, and debug firmware, drivers, and protocol stacks, collaborating with hardware teams to optimize performance and memory usage. Experience across 4–15 years is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded firmware and protocol development.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills with data structures.
• Experience with Linux or RTOS environments.
• Knowledge of protocol stacks and debugging tools such as Wireshark.

Responsibilities

About the RoleWe are hiring Embedded Engineers with experience in Protocol and/or Firmwaredevelopment to work from the customer location in Bangalore. The role requires strongexpertise in C/C++ programming, embedded systems, and communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain embedded firmware and communication protocols.

Work on wireless technologies such as:

• WiFi


• Cellular (LTE/5G)


• Bluetooth


• LoRa / LPWAN

• Design, develop, and debug protocol stacks and embedded systems


• Work on low-level drivers and hardware interfaces


• roubleshoot and resolve system-level issues


• Optimize performance, memory, and system eiciency

Required Skills

• Strong programming skills in C / C++ esp Data Structures.


• Good understanding of Embedded Systems


• Experience with Linux or RTOS environments


• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills


• Aware of using AI tools.


• Strong Protocol Knowledge, especially MAC Layer and above - hands-on

Preferred
