Job summary

Orcapod Consulting Services in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced embedded C professional with 4-14 years of hands-on expertise to join the team on-site. The role focuses on low-level programming, data structures, and protocol-level work across 4G/5G, WiFi, NFC, and related technologies.

The candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of C, arrays, pointers, memory management, and layer 2 protocols, with an emphasis on air-interface concepts, headers, beacons, and preambles. Bangalore-only.

Qualifications

• Experience with Embedded C programming basics and microcontroller concepts.
• Hands-on experience with arrays, pointers, structures, unions and memory management.
• Knowledge of data structures such as linked lists, queues and stacks.
• Understanding shared memory, pipes and inter-process messages.
• Experience with Layer 2 protocols in 4G/5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, LoRa, or FSK.
• Familiarity with headers, beacons, and slot concepts on air interface in protocol domain.
• Preferred joiners available in 30-45 days.
• Role and responsibilities will be provided in the interview.

1. Embedded C Programming (Basic Knowledge).
2. Hands on Experience on using concepts like Array, Pointers, C, Bitwise programming, structures, Unions, Memory Management, Function Pointers, Preprocessor, Enum, #pragma, Operators, type conversion, Qualifiers, Modifiers.
3. Knowledge of Data Structures like Link List, Queues, Stack.
4. Understanding concept of Shared Memory, Pipe, Messages, FSM.
5. Hands on Experience of any Layer 2 Protocol (Link Layer/MAC Layer) in 4G/5G/WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC/Lora/FSK.
6. Understanding concepts like headers, beacons, slot concepts on air interface, preamble, ..etc in Protocol Domain
