Job summary

Qualifications

Role Description

This is a full-time, on‑site Prosthetist role based in Bengaluru. The Prosthetist will assess patients’ functional needs, perform detailed evaluations, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop appropriate prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include measuring and casting, selecting components, designing and fitting prosthetic and orthotic devices, and adjusting them for alignment, comfort, and optimal function. The role involves conducting gait assessments, educating patients and caregivers on device use and maintenance, and documenting clinical findings and progress in accordance with professional standards. The Prosthetist will also support quality assurance, contribute to product improvements, and participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Prosthetics and Orthotics, including assessment, design, fitting, and follow‑up care.
• Candidates should possess skills in Gait Analysis to evaluate movement patterns, optimize device alignment, and improve functional outcomes.
• Candidates should possess skills in Patient Care and Medicine, with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Relevant academic qualification such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics or a related clinical field.
• Prior clinical experience in prosthetics and orthotics practice, preferably in a patient-facing setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to respectful, inclusive, and ethical care.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage a clinical schedule, and maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and familiarity with relevant tools, materials, and safety protocols.
