Job summary

Zoho in Kerala seeks an Orthotics Fabrication Technician to create and assemble custom devices from plaster casts and 3D data. You will work with plastics, metals, leather, carbon fiber, and composites to fabricate precise orthotic components.

Additional duties include repairing or modifying straps, padding, rivets, and uprights; ensuring safety, durability, and comfort; and maintaining workshop tools in a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with on‑the‑job training or a technical certificate in prosthetics and orthotics is commonly required.
• Experience or training in CAD/CAM software is preferred.
• Prosthetics/orthotics terminology and materials knowledge is essential.

Job Description

• Fabrication: Create, sculpt, and mold custom devices using plaster casts, measurements, and 3D digital data.
• Material Management: Work with a variety of materials including plastics, metals, leather, carbon fiber, and composite fabrics.
• Repair & Modification: Adjust, repair, or replace broken components like straps, padding, rivets, or metal uprights on existing devices.
• Quality Control: Ensure all finished orthoses meet patient safety standards, structural durability, and comfort requirements.
