Job summary

Fortune Personnel Services in Pune, India is seeking an experienced Vendor Coordination Specialist to support the proposal team by coordinating vendor offers in prebid. You will evaluate proposals for technical and commercial compliance, maintain vendor communications records, and collaborate with proposal and engineering teams to address all aspects.

The role requires a BE Electrical & Instrumentation and 5–8 years of relevant experience, strong negotiation and communication skills, and

Qualifications

• BE Electrical & Instrumentation degree required.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in vendor coordination and proposal roles.
• Strong MS Office and SAP proficiency.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal team by obtaining offers from vendors in prebid processes.
• Coordinate with vendors to request, track, and collect quotations.
• Evaluate proposals for technical and commercial alignment with project needs.
• Maintain records of communications, quotations, and comparison sheets.
• Collaborate with Vendors, Proposal & Engineering teams to address all aspects.
• Ensure timely receipt of offers to meet bidding schedules and market awareness.

Role & responsibilities

Support proposal team by giving offers from various vendors in prebid

• Vendor Coordination: Request, follow up, and collect quotations/offers from vendors
• Offer Evaluation: Review and analyse vendor proposals for technical compliance, commercial terms, and alignment with project requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain records of vendor communications, quotations, and comparison sheets
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Vendors, Proposal & Engineering teams to ensure all technical and commercial aspects are addressed.
• Deadline Management: Ensure timely receipt of vendor offers to meet bidding schedules.
• Market Awareness: Stay updated on vendor capabilities, pricing trends, and industry standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Educational Qualification: BE Elecrical,Instrumentation,
• Relevant Experience (Yrs) :5- 8 Years
• Strong understanding of technical specifications
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP systems.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
