Job summary

Nithyaa Sai Metal Technics in Hyderabad invites a proactive Proposal Engineer to craft techno-commercial quotations and BOQs for industrial entrance solutions, including rolling shutters, sectional doors, high-speed doors, dock levelers and related products.

Studying drawings, coordinating with Sales, Design, Production and Procurement, you will ensure accurate costing and timely submission of tender proposals, while continuously improving response time and profitability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in proposal engineering, tendering, estimation or techno-commercial quotations for industrial products.
• Ability to read engineering and architectural drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer enquiries, RFQs and tender documents to understand project requirements.
• Study architectural, structural and engineering drawings to identify required products and technical specifications.
• Prepare accurate techno-commercial quotations, BOQs and cost estimates for industrial entrance solutions including rolling shutters, sectional doors, high-speed doors, dock levelers and related products.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Design, Production and Procurement teams for technical clarifications and costing.
• Ensure timely submission of quotations, tenders and commercial proposals within customer deadlines.
• Evaluate project specifications, identify deviations and recommend suitable product solutions.
• Analyse competitor offerings and support competitive pricing strategies to improve order conversion.
• Maintain quotation records, tender documents and proposal documentation in the ERP/CRM system.
• Provide technical support to the Sales team during customer discussions, bid clarifications and negotiations.
• Continuously improve quotation accuracy, response time and proposal quality while ensuring company profitability.
