Ingersoll Rand Compressor Systems & Services in India seeks a Projects & Proposal Engineer to monitor the preparation and timely submission of techno-commercial offers, tenders, and proposals while supporting the sales team.

The role requires an engineering background, strong tendering experience in industrial equipment, and proficiency in MS Office and SAP to coordinate across engineering, procurement, and production teams for successful project execution.

Formación

• Engineering degree in Mechanical.
• 5+ years of experience in proposal and tendering in industrial equipment, ideally with pumps or similar fluid handling equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP for document preparation and data management.

Responsabilidades

• Review customer enquiries to ensure timely preparation of quotations, bids, and tenders.
• Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals in line with customer specs and tender requirements.
• Maintain and update customer and client contact databases.
• Visit customers for technical discussions, clarification meetings, and techno-commercial negotiations.
• Monitor project orders and ensure timely submission, resubmission, and post-order documentation approvals.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain quotations, technical information, and post-order docs.
• Liaise with Engineering, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track order progress and support timely delivery of products and services.
• Follow up with customers and internal stakeholders to expedite approvals and resolve issues.
• Maintain records of proposals, tenders, orders, and project documentation for audits.
• Support sales and business development activities to achieve growth targets.

Job Summary

The Projects & Proposal Engineer is responsible for monitoring the preparation and timely submission of techno-commercial offers, tenders, and proposals while providing continuous support to the sales team.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor customer enquiries to ensure timely preparation and submission of quotations, bids, and online/offline tenders.
• Prepare and submit techno-commercial proposals in compliance with customer specifications and tender requirements.
• Maintain and update customer and client contact databases.
• Visit customers for technical discussions, clarification meetings, and techno-commercial negotiations.
• Monitor project orders and ensure timely submission, resubmission, and approval of post-order documents.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotations, technical information, and post-order documentation.
• Liaise with internal departments such as Engineering, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Logistics to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track order progress and support timely delivery of products and services to customers.
• Follow up with customers and internal stakeholders to expedite approvals and resolve technical or commercial issues.
• Maintain records of proposals, tenders, orders, and project documentation for future reference and audits.
• Support sales and business development activities to achieve organizational growth targets.

Basic Qualifications

• Technical qualification: Engineering degree in Mechanical.
• 5+ years of experience in proposal and tendering in industrial equipment, ideally with experience Pumps or similar fluid handling equipment.
