Job summary

Cloud Synapps seeks an experienced Proposal Analyst, Technical Writing & Salesforce to craft technical proposals, RFP responses, and solution documents for complex Salesforce deployments. You will translate technical detail into clear, business-focused content and work with Solution Architects and pre-sales teams.

This hybrid role in Indore/Pune emphasizes timely deliverables, quality writing, and adherence to client guidelines, with exposure to Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related Salesforce

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Writing, Proposal Writing, or a similar role.
• Strong experience in technical proposal writing and drafting.
• Hands-on experience preparing pre-sales technical documents and client-facing proposals.
• Strong understanding of RFP, RFI, RFQ processes.
• Experience translating technical information into clear business content.
• Solid Salesforce knowledge including solutions, integrations, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and draft technical proposals, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other pre-sales documents.
• Create clear technical solution descriptions, architectures, and implementation approaches.
• Translate Salesforce technical solutions into business-friendly content.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Consultants, Developers, and Pre-Sales teams.
• Prepare pre-sales technical documentation, including dependencies and scope.
• Review and edit proposal content for accuracy, clarity, and compliance.
• Support RFP/RFI response matrices, executive summaries, and capability statements.
• Maintain proposal templates and Salesforce collateral.
• Ensure formatting, branding, and deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with internal SMEs to gather information and ensure timely completion.
• Support pre-sales and solutioning activities as required.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Analyst, Technical Writing & Salesforce with strong expertise in technical proposal writing, pre-sales documentation, technical drafting, and Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in technical writing and proposal development, with the ability to understand complex Salesforce solutions and translate technical information into clear, structured, and compelling proposal content.

The candidate will work closely with Salesforce Solution Architects, Consultants, Technical Teams, and Pre-Sales stakeholders to develop technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, solution documentation, and other client-facing materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and draft technical proposals, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other pre-sales documents.
• Create clear and structured technical solution descriptions, architecture overviews, methodologies, implementation approaches, and project deliverables.
• Translate complex Salesforce technical solutions into clear and business-friendly proposal content.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Solution Architects, Consultants, Developers, and Pre-Sales teams to gather technical information and develop proposal responses.
• Prepare pre-sales technical documentation, including solution approaches, technical responses, assumptions, dependencies, and scope.
• Review and edit proposal content for technical accuracy, clarity, consistency, grammar, and compliance with client requirements.
• Support the development of RFP/RFI response matrices, executive summaries, capability statements, and presentations.
• Maintain reusable proposal templates, technical content libraries, case studies, and Salesforce-related collateral.
• Ensure proposals follow required formatting, branding, submission guidelines, and deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal SMEs to gather information and ensure timely completion of proposals.
• Support pre-sales and solutioning activities as required.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Writing, Proposal Writing, Technical Proposal Development, or a similar role.
• Strong experience in technical proposal writing and drafting.
• Hands-on experience preparing pre-sales technical documents and client-facing proposals.
• Strong understanding of RFP, RFI, and RFQ processes.
• Experience translating technical information into clear, concise, and compelling business content.
• Good understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce solutions, products, integrations, and implementation methodologies.
• Ability to understand and document Salesforce solution architecture, integrations, technical approaches, and business requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong editing, proofreading, formatting, and content-structuring skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Solution Architects, Technical Consultants, Developers, and Business Stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other documentation/collaboration tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working directly with Salesforce Solution Architects or Salesforce consulting teams.
• Experience developing proposals for Salesforce implementation and transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or MuleSoft.
• Experience developing technical solution proposals, SOWs, and Statements of Work.
• Experience with pre-sales solutioning and technical bid responses.
• Experience with public-sector or government RFPs/proposals is an advantage.
• Salesforce certification or Salesforce Trailhead experience is a plus.
• Experience working in a consulting, technology services, or professional services organization.

What This Role Is NOT

• This is not a Solution Architect or Solutioning role. The candidate will receive technical inputs and translate them into writing; he/she should be proficient in technical writing for proposals with Salesforce ecosystem knowledge.
• This is not a general content/marketing writer role; deep comfort with technical/IT/Salesforce concepts and terminology is essential
