Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution overviews, architecture docs, user guides, and process documentation.
• Lead and contribute to RFP, RFI, RFQ, and proposal responses with high-quality submissions.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Developers, Consultants, Business Analysts and Pre-Sales teams.
• Translate complex Salesforce solutions into clear, business-friendly content.
• Develop proposal content including approaches, solution descriptions, methodologies, plans, assumptions, and deliverables.
• Review and edit content for accuracy, consistency, clarity, grammar and client requirements.
• Maintain reusable proposal templates, content libraries, case studies, and Salesforce collateral.
• Ensure proposals and documents follow branding, formatting and submission guidelines.
• Coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather information and meet deadlines.
• Support pre-sales activities, client presentations, capability statements, and sales enablement materials.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with strong Salesforce knowledge and proposal development experience to support technical documentation, RFP/RFI responses, and client-facing proposals. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in technical writing, with a strong understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling content.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution overviews, architecture documents, user guides, and process documentation.
• Lead and contribute to RFP, RFI, RFQ, and proposal responses, ensuring high-quality and compelling submissions.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Developers, Consultants, Business Analysts, and Pre-Sales teams to gather and validate technical information.
• Translate complex Salesforce solutions and technical concepts into clear, business-friendly content.
• Develop proposal content including technical approaches, solution descriptions, methodologies, project plans, assumptions, and deliverables.
• Review and edit technical and proposal content for accuracy, consistency, clarity, grammar, and compliance with client requirements.
• Maintain reusable proposal templates, content libraries, case studies, and Salesforce solution collateral.
• Ensure proposals and technical documents follow required branding, formatting, and submission guidelines.
• Coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders to gather information and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Support pre-sales activities, client presentations, capability statements, and other sales enablement materials.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Writing, Proposal Writing, or a similar role.
• Strong experience preparing RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and technical proposals.
• Good understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce products, solutions, integrations, and implementation methodologies.
• Ability to understand and document Salesforce architecture, technical solutions, integrations, and business processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong editing, proofreading, and content-structuring skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple proposals/documents under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and documentation/collaboration tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with Salesforce Solution Architects or Salesforce consulting teams.
• Experience creating content for Salesforce implementation and transformation projects.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, or MuleSoft.
• Experience developing technical solution proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Experience with public-sector or government RFPs/proposals is a strong advantage.
• Salesforce certification or exposure to Salesforce Trailhead is a plus.
• Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of pre-sales processes and proposal management.
