Job summary

Alstom in Delhi-Mukundpur is seeking a full-time Project T&C Manager to lead testing, commissioning, and handover activities for rail projects. You will work with engineering, validation, quality and manufacturing teams to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and safety.

The role requires a Master’s in engineering, 5+ years in T&C of electrical/controls and onboard networks in rail or process industries, plus 2+ years in T&C methods.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience in Testing & Commissioning of electrical, control, onboard communications, and network systems in railways, process industries, or factory automation.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Test Engineering (T&C Methods).
• Fluent in English.
• Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical processes (earthing, bonding, cabling, protection, instrumentation).
• Strong leadership and a result-driven mindset.
• Ability to foster communication across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience in high-risk electrical work and EHS requirements (desirable).
• Team spirit and excellent communication skills.

You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring customer acceptance and meeting quality, cost, and delivery commitments for our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including engineering, validation, quality, and manufacturing), supervise customer acceptance performance, and ensure compliance with environment, health, and safety (EHS) standards, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of overseeing serial testing and commissioning activities, as well as defining clear and comprehensive train acceptance criteria, but also ensuring the successful delivery of projects within the agreed timelines and budget.
