Job summary

Alstom in Jaipur seeks a full-time Project Manager to lead delivery of sub-systems within our rail signaling and telecom initiatives. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks and ensure QCDP targets, with emphasis on customer acceptance and contractual commitments across multi-site projects.

This role requires an engineering degree and extensive experience in railway signaling projects. You will guide the project team and liaise with stakeholders to secure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Electronics/Electrical
  • Minimum 15 years in Railway Signaling/Telecom, with Metro CBTC or equivalent project execution/T&C
  • Experience managing operational scopes within multinational companies
  • Knowledge of project management processes and methodologies
  • Familiarity with multi-site/multi-functional team collaboration
  • IPMA level D certification (or equivalent) is a plus
  • Coordination and good communication skills
  • Result-oriented mindset

Could you be the full-time Project Manager in Jaipur we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your project management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and dedicated teammates.

You’ll lead the delivery of project sub-systems, ensuring successful completion while meeting Quality, Cost, Delivery Performance (QCDP) objectives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Core Team, Integration level team, other sub-system stakeholders), coordinate activities, and make critical decisions to reach QCDP commitments and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of managing the technical and contractual scope, ensuring customer acceptance, and overseeing project risks. Additionally, you will functionally lead the project team and manage cross-functional interfaces.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Delivery of sub-systems in accordance with QCD targets and all contractual requirements
  • Timely sub-system gate reviews
  • Compliance with project strategy and contractual commitments
  • Management of the project's risks and corresponding mitigation plans
  • Functional leadership of the project team
  • Coordination and synchronization of sub-system activities with other project stakeholders
