Tata Consulting Engineers invites a seasoned Project Manager to lead all PMC functions for a major thermal power project site in Pune. You will oversee safety, quality, cost, and schedule, coordinating with the Employer, OEMs, Owner's Engineer, EPC contractors, and regulatory authorities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering.
• Postgraduate qualification in Project Management is an added advantage.
• 25+ years of experience in thermal power plant project execution.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and oversee all PMC functions for the project site, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Drive end-to-end execution of large-scale thermal power projects from erection through commissioning, PG testing, and final handover.
• Act as the single-point contact for the Employer, OEMs, Owner's Engineer, EPC contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction to multidisciplinary site teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Manage and co-ordinate BTG (Boiler-Turbine-Generator) and BOP (Balance of Plant) activities to ensure seamless project integration.
• Review progress, identify project risks and bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
• Ensure adherence to contractual obligations, technical specifications, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
• Lead project review meetings and provide timely reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
• Facilitate decision-making on critical technical, commercial, and operational matters impacting project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and foster a strong safety culture across the project site.
• Support successful commissioning, reliability runs, performance testing, and project close-out activities.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline. Postgraduate qualification in Project Management will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 25 years of experience in thermal power plant project execution, including exposure to commissioning and handover phases.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale thermal power projects in a PMC, EPC, Developer, or Owner's Engineer environment.
• Strong understanding of BTG and BOP systems, construction management, commissioning, and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities.
