Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking an experienced Plant Purchasing professional in India to lead procurement of electronic and electro-mechanical components. The role requires expertise in semiconductors, connectors, sensors, PCBs, and passive parts, with the ability to manage a multi-location supply chain and resolve complex supplier payments.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of experience in automotive electronics procurement.
• Experience in procurement of electronic/electromechanical components.
• Experience with SAP for contract prices and SOB (import/local materials).

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of electronic and electro-mechanical components.
• Specializes in procurement of semiconductors, connectors, sensors, PCBs, and passive components.
• Understand complex supply chain across multiple suppliers/locations.
• Support SCM escalations for uninterrupted supplies.
• Resolve complex payment issues between supplier, SCM, and Finance.
• Maintain contract prices and SOB in SAP for import/local materials.
• Interface between Global Category Managers and Supply Chain Management for Cluster Electronics.
• Support escalation process on GCAT for uninterrupted supplies.
• Analyze APR/PPV for Cluster Electronics.

Project Purchasing with minimum of 10 to 12 year experience in Electronics Purchasing and Vendor management with hands on experience on Automotive electronics & electromechanical components.

Your Key Responsibilities

• As Plant Purchasing buyer you are responsible for managing the Electronic and electro mechanical componts.
• Specializes in procurement of semiconductors, connectors, sensors, PCBs, & passive components.
• Ability to understand complex supply chain involving multiple suppliers / locations / sub supplier management.
• Support the SCM Escalations for uninterrupted supplies.
• Manage to resolve complex payment issues between Supplier, SCM, Finance.
• Maintain contract prices & SOB for all suppliers in SAP for both import and local materials.
• Control on price updation / monitoring, Planning
• Key interface between Global Category Managers and Supply Chain Management for Cluster Electronics
• Support the escalation process on GCAT for uninterrupted supplies
• Analysis of APR / PPV for Cluster Electronics

Your Qualifications

• Experience - 10 to 12 years in Auto Industry
