Job summary

Alten is seeking a Project Manager-Automotive in Pune District, India. The role involves managing and ensuring project milestones, preparing for program reviews, and attending gate review meetings. The successful candidate will also ensure accurate reporting of all programs and effective use of Program Management IT systems.

Job Role

• End to end experience in Project Management.
• Ensure that PMS milestones together with the Program Manager and the functions are scheduled, prepared, and correctly performed.
• In agreement with the Program Director, escalating PMS related issues to the BG and ensuring the follow‑up until resolution.
• Preparation of the Program Review Committee.
• Attend to the Gate Review meetings (also QVRs, TVRs, MD Reviews).
• Good knowledge about the end‑to‑end process of project management, budgeting, planning, APQP process etc.
• Ensure that next‑phase activities are planned properly before the start of each new phase (i.e., planning workshop).
• Make sure that the Production Trials are planned with anticipation of launch book or launch readiness.
• Ensure the appropriate usage of the Program Management IT system (Helios, E‑step), support end‑users and participate in the improvement of the tools.
• Ensure that program experience is capitalized in knowledge management to improve future programs performance. Share best

Ensure reporting

• Ensure that the reporting of all the CBU/Division/Region programs is done accurately on time.
• Update the list of Programs and the monthly KPIs, and escalation in case of deviation versus targets.
• Provide analysis (i.e., Red status programs, Gate Review failures).
• Ensure that the alerts (reported in the Alert Management System) are solved on time.
