Industry Background Strongly Preferred
- Experience in aerospace & defence precision manufacturing, or a Tier 1 / large Tier 2 supplier environment (aerospace or precision industrial) will be strongly preferred.
- Direct exposure to detail parts, structures, or complex machined component programs for OEMs such as Airbus, Boeing or Embraer, etc.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior exposure to Boeing supply chain programs, quality requirements, or program reviews.
Program & Quality Systems Knowledge
- Working knowledge of PPAP, APQP, and First Article Inspection (FAI) processes for new part introduction.
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, or IATF 16949 quality systems and process discipline.
- Comfortable working within a structured, documented, zero-defect manufacturing culture.
Program Management Scope
- Ability to independently own program P&L visibility — cost tracking, revenue control, and alignment to the Annual Operating Plan.
- Experience managing purchase orders, risk analysis, and revenue/contract management across a multi-part program.
- Demonstrated ability to run CXO / Board-level program reviews and manage 20+ cross-functional stakeholders.
- Comfortable representing the company at customer sites for program reviews, milestone alignment, and risk mitigation discussions.
Supply Chain & Planning
- Experience with demand forecasting, SKU/part-level production planning, and supplier coordination at scale.
- Track record of driving supplier-side process improvement (Kaizen or equivalent) to reduce shortages and lead time.
- Exposure to capex project coordination for production line expansion or capacity/yield improvement.
Leadership Style & Mindset
- Data-driven decision maker, comfortable building dashboards (Excel / Power BI) for real-time program and production tracking.
- A systems builder who documents process and drives accountability rather than relying on informal follow-ups.
- Willing to travel to customer sites internationally for program reviews as required.
- Stable career history preferred; frequent job changes will be viewed as a concern.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Program Execution
- Own end-to-end program schedule, cost, and delivery performance for assigned customer programs.
- Track program financials, revenue, and cost control in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan.
- Manage purchase orders end-to-end, including risk analysis, logistics coordination, and revenue management.
2. New Part Introduction & Quality
- Drive First Article Inspection (FAI) and PPAP processes for new manufacturing parts through to customer acceptance.
- Coordinate with quality and engineering teams to resolve program-level non-conformances and audit findings.
- Support customer and internal audits as the program's primary point of coordination.
3. Supply Chain & Production Planning
- Forecast demand and coordinate production planning across program SKUs.
- Lead process improvement (Kaizen) initiatives to reduce supplier-end shortages and improve on-time delivery.
- Coordinate capex investments for production line expansion, tracking yield and throughput improvement targets.
4. Stakeholder & Customer Management
- Act as the program's primary interface with customers on schedule, quality, and technical matters.
- Prepare and conduct CXO / Board-level program management reviews.
- Represent MSA at customer program reviews, including international travel where required.
5. Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Build and maintain dashboards for real-time production and program tracking (Excel / Power BI).
- Report program health, risks, and milestones to plant and Group leadership with clarity and accountability.
Champion Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement practices across the program lifecycle.
