Job summary

Sense seeks an experienced PMO professional in Vadodara, Gujarat, to drive governance and standardization across projects. You will define methodologies, templates, and lifecycle stages to ensure consistent delivery aligned with business goals.

You will enforce audits, stage-gate checks, and track KPIs, budgets, and risks while managing knowledge repositories. The role also involves coaching project managers and coordinating with executives and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in process engineering industry (Food preferred) at Pune facility.
• Experience with governance, audits, and stage-gate controls.
• Ability to define standard templates and lifecycle stages for projects.
• Strong focus on portfolio measurement and value realization.

Core Standards and Governance

A Project Management Office (PMO) sets standards, builds repeatable processes, and aligns project work with business goals. the PMO provides the governance, tools, and oversight required to manage entire project portfolios successfully.

Define methodologies: Create standard templates, processes, and life-cycle stages for all projects.

Enforce compliance: Run audits, reviews, and stage-gate checks to maintain quality.

Manage knowledge: Store historical data, templates, and documented lessons learned for future teams.

Portfolio and Strategic Alignment

Prioritize initiatives: Evaluate and select projects that match company strategy.

Track performance: Monitor KPIs and health metrics across all active programs.

Measure value: Oversee benefit realization to verify that completed projects deliver expected returns.

Resource and Risk Management

Optimize capacity: Balance human, technical, and financial allocations to prevent bottlenecks.

Mitigate portfolio risk: Identify cross-project risks and create company-wide response strategies.

Oversee budgets: Track spending trends and forecast financial performance.

Support and Training Coach teams

Mentor and support individual project managers.

Provide tools: Manage software, dashboards, and reporting systems.

Facilitate communication: Serve as the bridge between execution teams and executive leadership.

Job Requirement

There is a requirement at Customer end for PMO (Project Management Office) role with having 7 to 10 years of experience in process engineering industry (Food industry preferred) at there Pune Facility. Current duration is not clear but it will be around 9 to 12 Months. This is a new requirement and not related to any existing ongoing project. Requirement proposal is about to submit to customer.
