Job summary

Quest Global in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Project Planner to manage engineering projects, highlight risks and drive improvements across the full lifecycle. You will coordinate with engineers and customers to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.

The role involves weekly risk reviews, change control, and ongoing stakeholder communication. A background in engineering PM with Agile exposure is preferred, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering and/or MBA degree.
• 6-8 years of work experience in engineering project management, product management, program management and/or vendor management.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology preferred.
• Knowledge of power plant engineering and its operation preferred.
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects to highlight risks, drive improvements and maintain schedules.
• Review projects weekly for risks and ensure smooth communication across engineering lifecycle with client and end users.
• Oversee planning and execution of activities from start to end.
• Track work in progress, collaborate with suppliers and manage risks to meet schedules.
• Act as customer advocate between internal technical teams and customer teams.
• Provide weekly and monthly progress updates to customer and Quest Global leadership.
• Identify customer issues and coordinate with internal teams for PSR/RCAs.
• Lead creation and management of change control procedures, product roadmap, risk register and build release procedures.

What You Will Do:

• The Project Planner will be responsible for managing projects to highlight risks, driving project improvements, and maintaining projects schedules. The Project Planner will be working with engineers and customers to make sure their projects go smoothly.
• Review their projects weekly for risks that could delay deliverables. Achieve this by working with the engineers and understanding the status of the tasks. Ensure smooth communications and service delivery over full engineering lifecycle, between client and end users.
• Be responsible for project planning and oversight of planned activities from beginning to end.
• Keep track of work in progress, collaborate with suppliers, handle risks, and ensure projects are completed as per schedule.
• Service as customer advocate between internal technical teams and customer technical teams.
• Provide weekly and monthly updates to the customer and Quest Global leadership on progress of deliverables.
• Identify and prioritize customer issues and coordinate with internal team to do PSR, RCAs, etc.
• Lead creation and management of change control procedure, product roadmap, risk register and build release procedure.

What You Will Bring:
